Part of the "Romance Series", designed in the 1930s by Herman Klein of Imperial Linens. Superb imagery, and the finest hand work.
There are four different scenes in this set (each shown in the photos), with three placemats for each scene. The napkins are extra fancy: shield-shaped with a double hem, embellished with appliqué scrolls and leaves.
Excellent condition, gently used. Hand laundered, bright and clean. We only note a few frays at the edges, minor. This set looks wonderful
