Vintage linen tablecloth and napkin set, featuring embroidered vignettes from famous operas. Also embellished with a variety of musical instruments, both on the tablecloth and on each of the napkins. Hand embroidered in Madeira. An opera lover's delight!
Very good condition, not quite perfect. Laundered, bright and clean. We note an antique patina to the linen, both on the tablecloth and napkins, a few marks and specks, and some faint yellowing across the cloth. The napkins show shade variations, and some frays at the edges. All easy to forgive on this rare and charming set.
