Vintage Marghab tablecloth and napkin set in the striking "Old Ships" pattern. Graceful old ships and lurking sea monsters. One of our favorite Marghab patterns! Hand embroidered in Madeira, beautiful handwork, with a lush caseado bastido double border.
Very good condition, gently used, not quite perfect. Hand laundered, bright and clean. On the tablecloth we note a couple of faint spots and some patina to the linen. The napkins show some minor unevenness of linen color, with one napkin much brighter than the others. All easily forgiven, this set is wonderful.
