Magnificent antique table runner in handmade Point de Venise lace – extremely fine, extraordinarily beautiful.
The lace celebrates the four seasons: flowers in the spring, fruits in summer, wheat harvest in fall, and warming by the fire in winter. Amazing detail. Plus an ornate "G" monogram.
Excellent condition, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright. We note a few openings in the lace, and a few faint discolorations. Minor, and easily forgiven. You will rarely see lace so fine and lovely!
