Antique c1890 cocktail napkins, hand embroidered on linen – a gorgeous triple monogram, scrolling flowers, metallic thread accents, and pretty lace embellishments along every side. We sense a strong Ottoman influence here. These are magnificent.
Excellent condition, never used. Very gently laundered and restored, clean and bright. We note a few faint remaining storage spots, a touch of tarnish to some of the corner metallic decorations, and a couple of detached connectors on the lace. One napkin has a small wax/oil stain at the edge. All minor, and easily forgiven on these extraordinary pieces. They look amazing.
