Showpiece antique Madeira hand embroidered linen tablecloth. Dense with cutwork, with loads of padded satin stitch flowers, shading in meshwork and seed stitch, and scalloped edges with fleur-de-lys accents. Superb hand work. A stunning creation.
Table ready. Excellent condition, gently used. Hand laundered, clean and bright, with no stains or discolorations. We note only a few detached connectors, and some small frays at the edges. Minor, this tablecloth looks marvelous.
Linen is light ecru, with darker embroidery floss;
