Antique embroidered panel, featuring detailed cherubs that seem practically sculpted in needle and thread. So exquisite, these absolutely must be French.
We suspect it was originally part of a bed hanging – like the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, this panel looks marvelous from any angle. What a glorious bedchamber that must have been!
This would make an amazing centerpiece, or display beautifully in a frame.
It measures approximately 20". Condition is excellent, hand laundered, bright and clean.
